GoCard was a project founded by PSR Toscana whose objective was to achieve a technical-economic feasibility analysis of cardoon products and co-products and identify the most promising sectors where co-products from this crop can be allocated (such as thermochemical conversion for bioenergy generation, agricultural and other applications) identifying the technology that guarantees the best performance in terms. The project has been extended with a second phase, GoCard2, that will kick-off in January 2019.
